Identification of constitutive parameters for thin-walled aluminium tubes using a hybrid strategy

The paper presents a hybrid strategy to determine constitutive parameters for thin-walled tubes based on experimental responses from hydraulic bulge tests. This developed procedure integrates the analytical model, finite element analysis and gradient-based optimization algorithm, where initial guesses of material are generated quickly by theoretical method, then they input an inverse framework integrating Gauss-Newton algorithm method. solving this problem leads more accurate identification reducing discrepancies between simulated results data. To evaluate its feasibility performance, tests with different end-conditions annealed 6060 5049 aluminium carried out. strength coefficient hardening exponent determined using collected measurements in experiment. These used compare those obtained single model model. comparison validates that proposed is not sensitive starting points can improve calculation efficiency parameters.
